My Editing Journey

 

Hi, I'm Mel!

 
I'm a queer romance Editor based in Melbourne, working with self-publishing authors across the globe. I came into publishing the unorthodox way: through games, design, and a deep love of genre fiction, and I brought all that passion I have for storytelling with me.
​
I currently work with Brink Literacy Project's F(r)iction literary imprint as a Marketing Associate and former Publishing Intern, where I've edited manuscripts, interviewed authors, and written editorial content. With 20+ freelance editing credits in LGBTQI+ romance and genre fiction, I bring both independent and traditional publishing experience to my work.
